The offices of immigration attorneys Margaret W. Wong & Associates has a new location in Parma, Ohio. Malak Jadallah is Director of Community and International Affairs for Ms. Wong and will run the Parma office. Malak is Palestinian-American and very familiar with the Middle Eastern community in Cleveland and formerly worked for Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

The grand opening took place on April 12th and featured Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter as well as an update on immigration reform from Margaret Wong.

In this video snippet, immigration attorney and author Margaret Wong welcomed new employee Malak Jadallah as Director of Community and International Affairs in her new office in Parma.

Ms. Wong then gave an update on immigration reform to the crowd. In this clip she states that waiting 8-10 years for a green card is too long.

Many in the crowd were surprised to hear that the first department that went into Homeland Security after 9-11 was Immigration and that private jails are making a lot of money on immigrants.

Ms. Wong said there are 3 levels of immigration: High-skilled employment based, lower-skilled employment based and family-based. If one level goes up and a cap is set, the other levels must go down.
