The 70th annual One World Day was held in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens on August 23, 2015. Sheila Murphy Crawford, president of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation, introduced a Color Guard from the Cleveland Police Department and Katie Cooper who sang the National Anthem at the 2015 One World Day.

Sheila asked for a moment of silence in the memory of Congressman Louis Stokes who passed away a few days earlier.
Sheila told about the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and how they will be 100 years old next year. She called them 'Cleveland's Central Park.'
Sheila introduced Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson at the 2015 One World Day. The Mayor spoke about Cleveland's Diversity and gave a proclamation designating August 23, 2015 as One World Day in the City of Cleveland.
Sheila Murphy Crawford thanked Cleveland City Council and especially Councilman Kevin Conwell and Jeff Johnson for their support at the 2015 One World Day. She then introduced Cuyahoga County Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell who represents the area for the County. Rep Conwell is also on the Executive Board of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation.
She presented a token of appreciation to Kevin Conwell's wife Cuyahoga County Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell on behalf of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation.
Vice-President Rich Crepage recognized some of the dignitaries in the audience including Cleveland Consular Corps members Manuel Lopez (Spain), Ingrida Bublys (Lithuania), Dianna Thimmig (Germany) and Sandra Morgan (UK).
Next, Sheila Murphy Crawford introduced members of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation Executive Board at the 2015 One World Day event. This included Paul Burik, Anda, Cook, Rich Crepage, Dan Hanson, Debbie Hanson, Pierre Bejjani, Svetlana Stolyarova, Mary Hamlin and George Terbrak.
Mary Hamlin has been a tireless volunteer and caretaker of the British Cultural Garden in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens for many decades. She was honored for her service at One World Day 2015 and introduced by Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation Vice-President Paul Burik.
Ernie Mihaly has been a tireless volunteer and caretaker of the Hungarian Cultural Garden in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens for many decades. He was honored for his service at One World Day 2015 and introduced by Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation Vice-President Rich Crepage
Gino Collage has been a tireless volunteer and caretaker of the Italian Cultural Garden in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens for many decades. He was honored for his service at One World Day 2015 and introduced by Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation Vice-President Anda Cook.
Honorable Solomon Oliver Jr., Chief Judge United States District Court Northern District of Ohio presided over the Naturalization of new citizens ceremony at t the 2015 One World Day.

A highlight of One World Day is the Parade of Flags.
The 2015 One World Day Parade of Flag started on East Blvd. and marched down to the main stage on MLK Blvd. Colorful traditional costumes, music and flags made up the Parade which kicked off the 2015 One World Day program in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
The 2015 One World Day Parade of Flag ended at the main stage on MLK Blvd. Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation president Sheila Crawford announced the marchers as they approached the main stage. Colorful traditional costumes, music and flags made up the Parade.
