One World Day 2016 Ceremony

The main ceremony of the 71st annual One World Day in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens was very inspiring.
Sheila Murphy Crawford, president of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation, welcomed the crowd to the 71st annual One World Day in the Centennial Year of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.

She introduced the Cleveland Police Color Guard who presented the colors.

Then 11 year old Polina Kornyushenko sang the US National Anthem.

Rev. Hilton O. Smith, president of the NAACP Cleveland and associate pastor at Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church, gave an invocation.

Next, Sheila Murphy Crawford invited Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and other dignitaries to ceremonially break ground in the Centennial Plaza of the Cultural Gardens during the 71st annual One World Day in the Centennial Year of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
