For 12 years, the International Community Council - Worldwide Intercultural Network (ICC-WIN) hosts an annual Summit on the state of the international community in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. The 2019 topic was very important and timely: The 2020 Census and how to achieve a complete count.
Ken Kovach, president of the International Community Council - Worldwide Intercultural Network (ICC-WIN) welcomed the crowd to the 12th annual Summit on the state of the international community in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Ken explained ICC-WIN and why they host the summit and then acknowledged several board members and ClevelandPeople.com as media partner.
Ken Kovach introduced Stephen Shope who is Supervisory Partnership Specialist, Philadelphia Regional Census Center, US Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census.
Shope told how the census came to be, right from the very start as the founding fathers decided on a bicameral system.

Shope told of the importance of the Census Data for things like Congressional representation and also federal funding.
The attendees were informed and inspired to make sure all the people in the communities they represent are counted.
