Cleveland City Hall February 5, 2011
The Underground Railroad Society and Peace in the Hood, Inc. in conjunction with a network of community organizations presented a a Salute to Black History Month at Cleveland City Hall.
One of the final parts of the program was the Community Reflection. A person, young or old, came to the microphone and spoke about an important person in their life. For example, the young lady in this short video speaks about Tupac Shakur.
The people in the following photos offered a reflection on people from Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King Jr. to lesser know figures.
After receiving permission from the Elders, the program concluded with a song.
