Peacock and Snake Dance
Diwali Celebration 2011
October 21, 2011

After the welcoming remarks, speeches and presentations, it was time for the award-winning dance recital Peacock and Snake Dance choreographed by Shivankari Sanjeevan and Ahalya Ramanathan. The dance was described as follows:

When the clouds turn grey and the tears fall from the heaven, the fine feathered friends fluff out their glorious feathers and dance to exhilaration. Their prime time enemy, the snake, comes from their hole and toll in the mud in bliss. But what happens when the two immortal enemies come face to face? Who becomes the prey and who is the predator? The dance tells the story.
