The Indian community rallied around eight of their finest artists in the 2nd Annual Kala Art Show held Sunday, November 16th at the Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood.
Show organizers Mona Alag and Poonam Punwani started the show last year for two main purposes.

The first was to showcase the talents of these find Indian artists and the second was to raise funds for a local charity. This year's recipient was the American Heart Association.
There is no charge for the show, but excess from the proceeds from the entry fee and the sale of food from The Saffron Patch were given to the Heart Association. Hundreds of people viewed the show and bought paintings, sculptures, furniture and mixed media works of art. All are anxious for the next show, so plans are in the making for the 3rd annual event.
