Saint Casimir Catholic Church
Reopening and First Mass
The last Mass held at St. Casimir Church in Cleveland was held on November 8, 2009. Starting the following Sunday, parishioners and supporters met outside the locked church to pray. They continued to meet and pray every week.
On Sunday July 15, 2012 over 1,000 parishioners and supporters packed the church for the reopening.
After 139 weeks outside, Joe Feckanin, one of the leaders of the core group that met outside, points the way into the newly reopened church.
