On Sunday July 15, 2012 over 1,000 parishioners and supporters packed the church for the reopening Mass.
Father Eric Orzech, new pastor of St Casimir Church, welcomed the people home to the newly reopened Church to begin the reopening Mass.
Fr. Orzech said that many people had asked "Where's the Holy Water" as they entered the church. He replied that 'water evaporates after two and a half years!' He then blessed new water and added salt (in the Polish tradition) and then sprinkled the faithful with it.
