Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce is a newly founded nonprofit organization that aims to offer resources, information and business contacts for Chamber members; connect local companies with partners from China to explore further ventures; and facilitate Chinese investors to develop business opportunities in Northeast Ohio.
A sold out kickoff event was held to celebrate the Chinese New Year and network. Along with networking, appetizers were served and attendees toured the STARTMART space.
Flashstarts CEO Charles Stack welcomed the crowd to STARTMART, the co-working space for entrepreneurs working to rebuild Cleveland's economy with startups. Stack also told of his Flashstarts venture program helping startups become successful.

Grace Wang is an attorney at Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP in Cleveland Ohio. She founded the Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce in 2016. In this video Grace welcomes the large crowd to the first meeting of the Chinese Chamber. She told of the Chamber's mission and introduced the Board of Directors and Advisors.

Grace Wang then introduced successful businessman and Chamber Board Member Eddie Ni at the first meeting of the Chinese Chamber.

After his speech, Eddie Ni introduced his mentor and 2012 inductee of the Cleveland International Hall of Fame Anthony Yen.

Kimberly Kirkendall, President of Chinese Resource Network and CFO of the Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce, thanked Anthony Yen for his remarks and ended the presentation of the first meeting of the Chamber.

Anthony Yen then called up Dr. Yan Xu, Director of the Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University and Associate Director Xuhong Zhang and they presented a flag of China to the Chamber board.
