Ohio China Day 2018 Cleveland Public Auditorium February 24, 2018
Ohio China Day 2018 was celebrated with a Chinese New Year Gala in Cleveland Public Auditorium on February 24, 2018.
It was organized by Chinese Communities in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Buffalo including Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association, Cleveland Contemporary Chinese School and in Partnership with the City of Cleveland.
Attendees enjoyed spectacular Chinese New Year performances and activities including Lion Dance, Martial Arts, Folk Art Performance, Authentic Chinese Foods, Children’s Activities, Chinese Drawing, Calligraphy and more.
Before the performances, many of the leaders introduced themselves and their organizations including Co-Producer Chia-Min Chen from the City of Cleveland.

Next, Co-Producer Liming Wang introduced representatives of the Chinese Consulate from New York. Other Producers were Nianfa Tang, Bo Li and Zhiqiang Wang. Nianfa Tang and Jichen Sheng were the Artistic Directors.
Liming Wang and Chia-Min Chen introduced Alex Lackey from the City of Cleveland and Joe Cimperman from Global Cleveland.

The Masters and Mistresses of Ceremonies welcomed the crowd in both English and Chinese and introduced the Year of the Dog. The hosts were Lei Hong, Yin Tang, Aaron Schweizer, Robert He, Linda Yu, Daniel Yan, Sunny Fan, Andy Wu, Lucas He and Jie Sheng.
