The 4th annual Filipino Festival was held June 21, 2009.
The event was held at the The Philippine American and Cultural Civic Center in Parma.

There was delicious food, wonderful dancers, musical entertainment, arts & crafts, jewelry, ready to wear garments , paintings, flower arrangements, Philippine treasures, and more. There was even a contest to search for the Filipino American Idol!
Consul General Blesila C. Cabrera, Philippine Consulate General of Chicago poses with the statue of the Philippines' national hero José Protasio Rizal.
Consul General Cabrera also made opening remarks and assisted those in need with legal and immigration issues.
