Irish American Club East Side Float
The float of the Irish American Club East Side won first place at the Parade. In this video snippet, Rich Reagan and Jim Peppard (Co-Chair)told about the float which portrayed the classic movie The Quiet Man starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara and Barry Fitzgerald. The float depicted the horsing cart scene and included a horse with moving legs and moving wheels on the cart. Both men agreed that the Donnybrook scene was the highlight of the movie.
