Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians
Celebrate their Patron Saint Brigid St. Patrick's WP Church January 22, 2017
The Our Lady of the Rosary Division of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians celebrated their patron Saint Brigid with a Mass and Breakfast. At the Breakfast, the 2017 Hibernian of the Year and the United Irish Societies honorees were introduced and recognized for their contributions.
This was the first "official" event of the 2017 St. Patrick's Day season.
After Mass at St. Patrick West Park Church, the people gathered for the presentations and breakfast.
Father Tom Mahoney, Chaplain of the Our Lady of the Rosary Division of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in Cleveland led grace after the annual Saint Brigid Day Mass.

He read the famous prayer of St, Brigid (one of the 3 patron saints of Ireland) that begins "I would like a great lake of beer for the King of Kings."

Sheila Murphy Crawford served as MC of the event and introduced the people on the dais including Grand Marshall Roger Weist, Hibernian of the Year Maire Kilbane Leffel and Irish Mother of the Year Mary Angela Murphy and some dignitaries in the audience.
Sheila Crawford spoke about the life of St. Brigid and how she is a great example for today's women.
