The theme of the 2018 St Patrick's Day Parade in Cleveland was Prominent Irish Pioneers of the 20th Century. Bob Henry of the Irish American Club East Side in Cleveland explained their float. It featured a tribute to boxer John L. Sullivan, Ed Sullivan and the Beatles and a woman aviator pioneer Lady Mary Bailey.
