One World Day 2011 in Cleveland Cultural Gardens August 28, 2011
The 64th annual One World Day celebration was held in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens on Sunday August 28, 2011.
The day began with the rededication of the Lesya Ukrainka statue in the Ukrainian Garden

Before the ceremony began, free guided trolley tours of the Cultural Gardens were narrated by Mary Hamlin.

Cleveland Cultural Garden Federation President Paul Burik welcomed the crowd to the 64th One World Day and the rededication of the Lesya Ukrainka statue in the Ukrainian Garden.

Paul then introduced TV reporter Dick Russ who served as Master of Ceremonies of the One World Day event.

In traditional Ukrainian style, the event began with the presentation of bread and salt as Pryvit was performed by the Kashtan Ukrainian Dancers

Cleveland Cultural Garden Federation president Paul Burik read a proclamation for the Ukrainian Cultural Garden from University Circle Inc. and presented it to Dozia Krislaty, Ukrainian Cultural Garden Committee Chair and President of Branch 8 of the Ukrainian National Women's League of America.
