Santas of the World Display Cleveland Arcade 4th Street between Superior and Euclid December 2, 2024
Arcade in Cleveland decorated for Christmas
According to the TakeAHike website, a dozen Santas were salvaged from National City Bank in Cleveland during its redevelopment, where they were originally displayed in the grand lobby over 50 years ago. Inspired by the book Santas of the World, the display celebrated the cultural traditions of Cleveland's early immigrant populations. Now refurbished, these Santas are featured in holiday displays highlighting the diverse cultural traditions celebrated across our city that were created in four storefront windows in The Arcade.

This year, Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation partnered with cultural institutions, the Italian American Museum of Cleveland, the Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center, and the Polish American Cultural Center. The added displays showcasing holiday traditions from Italy, Puerto Rico, and Poland add depth to the experience, bringing festive traditions from around the world into the heart of Cleveland.
The window display exhibit is free and accessible during The Arcade operating hours November 30 - January 5.
