Historic League Park was the site for baseball games.
It was fitting that Baldwin Wallace, home to four-time Olympic Gold Medal winner Harrison Dillard, was the site for track and field events.

We caught up with two octogenarians who had just competed, and won medals, in the 400m dash. William Bohle is 80 years old and Johnny Lucassen is 85. It turns out they live only about 6 miles part in small towns in Alabama. They raced at Baldwin-Wallace Finnie Stadium on July 14, 2024 and placed 1st and 2nd. Here they share their experience and give some advice to others in their age group and younger. Johnny told us, "We're what you call role models."
