The weather was terrible. (Our $700 camera was ruined in the downpour.) But the spirit of the people was high. The unveiling and dedication of the statue of Mother Teresa in the Albanian Cultural Garden coupled with the appearance by Albanian president Bujar Nishani made up for the freezing rain and sleet.

Cleveland Councilwoman Dona Brady served as Mistress of Ceremonies and welcomed the crowd to the Albanian Cultural Garden.

Bruna and Rick Hoxha sang the Albanian national anthem followed by Jonida Preka Morelli singing the Star Spangled Banner.
Father John Loejos blessed soil from the Republic of Albania and then children sprinkled the soil in the garden at the dedication of the new Albanian Cultural Garden.
