A special treat was the performance on the main Centennial Plaza Stage of an Armenian Bridal Dance. The audience loved it!
In the Armenian culture, it is customary for the bride to perform a solo dance on her wedding day. Margarita Markosyan showcased that ancient and beautiful tradition by performing her wedding dance. As an Armenian dancer for 13 years, Margarita’s journey has been a vibrant blend of tradition, passion, and artistry. From her first steps, she has immersed herself in the rich heritage of Armenian dance, mastering the intricate footwork and expressive movements that tell the stories of her ancestors. Each performance is a celebration of this heritage, merging ancient rhythms with a contemporary touch, which bring the spirit of Armenia to life in a most captivating way.
