Su He, Executive Director, welcomed the crowd to the event.

She then introduced Andria Derstine, Deputy Director and Chief Curator at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Next Su He read a message from Blaine Griffin, Cleveland City Council President.
The special guest was Chen Li, Consul General, Chinese Consulate General in New York, who made his first trip to Ohio. He spoke about trade and student statistics and opportunities between China and Ohio.

A special treat was a performance by Zhan Shu and Katherine Bormann who are violinists with the Cleveland Orchestra. Zhan Shu explained that this piece is usually for one violin and a piano but he created his own arrangement to make it a violin duet.
