Los Jilgueros de Altamira celebrates the enduring folk music of the Mexican Huasteca region identified by its indigenous inhabitants, the Husatecs. The quartet specializes in the Huapango, a type of Mexican folk dance that combines Spanish and indigenous cultures. The members are: Cecilia Boeta, lead singer/jarana huasteca, Arturo Boeta Chavez, guitarra quinta, Roberto Conde, upright bass and Miguel Garcia Boeta, violin.

In addition, the HOLA Folkloric Dancers performed. The HOLA Folkloric Dancers were started by Salome Espinoza and his wife Rosario when they were teens in their home city of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico. The other HOLA Folkloric Dancers are Blanca Mata, Tania Ruvalcaba, Daniel Padilla, Brandon Montes and Jose and Francisca Mares.
