Polish-American Cultural Center Museum 6501 Lansing Ave. Cleveland, Ohio July 15, 2023
The Polish-American Cultural Center (PACC) in Cleveland, Ohio, named in honor of Pope John Paul II, is a 501(c) (3) tax exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Polish culture, traditions, language, history, literature, arts, music, theater, and education.
Their mission is to provide an organizational structure for all who desire to be in touch with Polish heritage.
The PACC museum consists of multiple rooms, including area dedicated to the contribution of Poles to the history of America, history of Cleveland Polonia, Paderewski memorabilia, military history, Polish folklore room, Solidarity remembrance room, and a gallery displaying original paintings, reproductions, and sculptures by Polish artists or artists dealing with Polish subjects. They also provide a rotating gallery featuring works by visiting artists. The archives section is dedicated to sort out, preserve and store documents and artifacts of significant historical value. Also, within the museum, a library honoring Dr. Jerzy Maciuszko contains a number of volumes of historical significance. The library is open to all for research or on-site reading.
