The Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival athletic events are run by the Great Lakes Scottish Athletic Association. Despite record breaking heat, athletes gathered on Saturday June 22, 2024 to compete in a variety of Highland Games. This included the Caber (Gaelic for tree) Toss, Stone Put, Weight Over Bar, Heavy and Light Weights for Distance, Hammer Throws and the Sheaf Toss. This video shows some of the preliminary competitions of the sheaf toss, stone put and hammer toss.
