One of the highlights of the annual event is the Parade of Flags where representatives of various cultures carry their flag to the main One World Day staging area. The Parade began at the Polish Garden at East Boulevard and St Clair and marched to the top level of the Hungarian Garden.

Led by a piper, the flag bearers then paraded down the steps to the lower level of the Hungarian Garden.

They then proceeded to the main staging area of One World Day for the ceremonies.
