The ribbon cutting and grand opening of the Global Cleveland Welcome Center took place on Tuesday February 7, 2012. A packed house gathered on the 3rd floor of the Huntington Building at 200 Public Square and heard opening remarks from several involved in the New Welcome Center.
After the speeches, the crowd traveled downstairs to the Euclid Ave. side of the building for the ribbon cutting. Dan Walsh, Ed Fitzgerald, Frank Jackson, Larry Miller and Baiju Shah cut the ribbon and rolled out the carpet to officially open the Global Cleveland Welcome Center.
